Our undergraduate programs

 
Our BSc and BA programs have a duration of 4 years, are taught in English and offer a supportive learning environment of small class sizes, excellent professors and academic and extra-curricular support services for international students (Careers Services, International Office, Counselling, Student Clubs, Office of Learning and Teaching and more).

The majority of our graduates receive job offers within 3 months of graduation or earlier, have done at least 2 internships and 1 semester of study abroad by the time they graduate.

Admission requirements

  • SAT/ACT or an international diploma grade – required
  • TOEFL/CAE test score (IELTS is not accepted) – optional
  • High School Diploma (if available)
  • High school transcripts (can be with predicted scores)
  • Motivation letter
  • 2 letters of recommendation
  • Non-refundable application fee (150 Turkish Lira)
Only the exams and diplomas listed below are acceptable. You should satisfy the minimum acceptable score or grade from the exam or diploma to complete your application.

Tuition fees and living costs for international students

For 2019 we advise international students who are admitted without scholarships to Koç University to prepare a budget of 20.000 – 25.000 USD per academic year to cover the following expenses:

  • Tuition (19.500 USD per academic year, 26.500 USD Medicine)
  • Dormitories on campus or private rental housing
  • Food, local travel, books, health insurance

Scholarships for international students

Koç University evaluates admitted candidates for full (100%) or partial (50%, 25%) tuition-only scholarships on the basis of financial need and academic merit. Please know that requesting a scholarship does not diminish your admission chances.

If you would like to be considered for a scholarship please indicate so in the online application form under the “Scholarships” section and provide all the information and supporting documents related to your family’s assets, income and expenses.
