EQUIS

Koç University Business School earned the EQUIS accreditation inMarch 2009 and was renewed in 2017. EQUIS (The European Quality Improvement System) is a leading international system of quality assessment, improvement, and accreditation of higher education institutions in management and business administration administered by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development). Its scope covers all programs offered by an institution from the first degree up to the PhD, including non-degree programs. The Association of MBAs (AMBA)

Koç University Graduate School of Business received accreditation in 2016 from The Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the leading authorities on postgraduate business education, and thus joins an elite family of the top 2% of the world’s business schools. The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

In October 2010 the Semahat Arsel Nursing Education and Research Center earned accreditation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), a subsidiary of the American Nurses Association (ANA), and the recognized leader in global credentialing services.

The ANCC is the world’s largest and most prestigious nurse credentialing organization and is the only nurse credentialing organization to successfully achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification in the design, development, and delivery of global credentialing services and support products for nurses and healthcare organizations. www.nursingworld.org/ancc/

The Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK)

Koç University’s College of Engineering programs are accredited by the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Engineering Programs (MÜDEK), a non-governmental organization operating for the purpose of contributing to the enhancement of quality of engineering education in Türkiye and recognized by the Higher Education Council (YÖK) of Türkiye as the National Quality Assurance Agency in accrediting engineering programs.

MÜDEK is a member of the European Network for Accreditation of Engineering Education (ENAEE) since November 17, 2006 and since MÜDEK became a Signatory of the Washington Accord in 2011, all programs accredited by MÜDEK are recognized as equivalent to ABET-accredited by other Washington Accord Signatories. CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)

Koç University’s Master of Science in Finance Program was selected as the first partner program in Türkiye and one of only 36 CFA Program partners throughout Europe. The CFA Institute has partnerships with a limited number of select institutions that cover a significant portion of the CFA Program curriculum in their degree program. The International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN)

The International Sustainable Campus Network (ISCN) provides a global forum to support leading colleges, universities, and corporate campuses in the exchange of information, ideas, and best practices for achieving sustainable campus operations and integrating sustainability in research and teaching. In 2009, the ISCN developed the Sustainable Campus Charter, which organizes campus sustainability into 3 core principles, requires a commitment at the highest level of the institution, and includes annual reporting on sustainability goals, initiatives, and performance. PIM (Partnership in International Management)

PIM (Partnership in International Management) is a consortium of leading international business schools, founded in 1973. Each member institution represents the highest degree of excellence in the fields of business administration and management, demonstrates leadership in their geographic region and delivers an MBA or a graduate-equivalent degree in management. Launched in 2012, the Global Network for Advanced Management includes 32 leading business schools from diverse regions, countries, cultures, and economies in different phases of development. Koç University Business School is a member of EFMD (The European Foundation for Management Development) an international membership and accreditation organization, based in Belgium. AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)

Koç University Business School is a member of AACSB (The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). The Global Business School Network (GBSN)

In December 2009, Koç University became the first university to join the Global Business School Network (GBSN) through the College of Administrative Sciences and Economics and the Graduate School of Business. It is a non-profit organization which aims to educate future corporate leaders of emerging markets with the support of the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank. The UN Global Compact

Koç University signed the UN Global Compact in 2007. The UN Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for institutions that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC)

Koç University is the first university from Türkiye to partner with the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) which aims to improve understanding and cooperative relations among nations and peoples across cultures and religions. In 2008, Koç School of Business participated in PRME (The Principles of Responsible Management Education Initiative). The programs remain committed to advancing corporate and social responsibility.
