Offered Program

Overview

  • 4-year program with 30% of the total courses offered with international content lectured in English. Turkish proficiency is required as an admission condition for our Bachelor’s in Law program (LLB)

Curricular opportunities

  • Foundation courses of public law and private law with international and comparative content.
  • Electives cover an extensive variety of niche and emerging areas of the legal profession.

Co-curricular opportunities

  • National and international projects and work-study positions and programs based on innovative learning awards, case-law groups, certificate programs, and summer schools.
  • Law students publish the law journal JUSTITIA and are responsible for an active Law Club
  • Study travels to the International Court of Justice, European Court of Human Rights, European Council, European Union Commission, European Union Court of Justice
  • Annual ‘‘Career Days’’ event for legal recruiters.

Application Requirements

Mandatory Documents

  • A required international or country-based qualification
  • Documentation of English proficiency
  • School of Law Turkish proficiency requirements (C1 level proficiency in the Turkish language – within the framework of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages- as approved by either TÖMER or Yunus Emre Institute)
  • High school transcripts or predicted results from every attended grade (9th, 10th, 11th, and, if available, 12th grades)
