How can I pay my semester tuition?

The preferred payment method for international students is the “Param” online payment platform. This ensures that your payment is received and confirmed by the university’s Student Accounting team in a quicker way than other methods.

You or a family member can click on the Param payment link that will be included in your tuition proforma invoice and then enter your KU ID number to make the payment using a credit card authorized for international and online transactions.

If you require another payment method, please get in touch with us at study@ku.edu.tr, and we will provide guidance.

When should I pay my semester tuition?

You should pay your first-semester tuition at Koç University either in the first tuition payment period (29 April – 3 May 2024) or the second tuition payment period (29 July – 2 August 2024). We strongly recommend paying your tuition during the payment weeks if you plan on applying for campus dormitory accommodation.

NEW INTERNATIONAL UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS WITH TURKISH CITIZENSHIP

If you have been offered full or conditional admission to one of our undergraduate programs as a new international student and have Turkish citizenship, you will find the tuition fees in Turkish Lira (TRY), how to pay, and the payment deadline here.

The information on the link will be updated by June 2024 for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Who should I contact for any queries regarding my tuition payment?

You can contact us via email – study@ku.edu.tr to learn the status of your tuition payment

Campus Dormitory

Koç University strives to offer shared campus dormitory rooms to most new international undergraduate students.

  • Single rooms are only available to new students based on exceptional circumstances (e.g. medical) and are allocated on a case-by-case basis.
  • You can see details of our two dormitory campuses (Rumelifeneri and West Campus), room types, facilities, and annual room fees here.
  • Dorm placements are not guaranteed, and we cannot guarantee that you will be placed in your first choice of room type due to the limited capacity.

Once you have received your KUNet ID and password, you will be able to log in to KUHUB https://campus.hub.ku.edu.tr/ and complete the dormitory application form during the application period for new international undergraduate students.

Details about the application dates, how to apply, and room fees for the new academic year will be announced in August to all students who have accepted their offers and paid their first-semester tuition fees.

Off-campus Housing

  • If you do not wish to stay in our campus dormitories or could not be placed in the room type of your choice, you can check the Off-campus Housing Guide prepared by the International Community Services team.
  • Check the Goin app to see if your future peers are looking for someone to share the house.

Please note that the Housing team receives a substantial volume of email inquiries during the dorm application period, so we kindly ask you to check their website, Frequently Asked Questions page, before emailing them. This will help you save time. You can also contact Housing via email – housing@ku.edu.tr for any general dormitory queries.
